![]() BATTELLE DONATES $5,000 TO DERMAL TOXICOLOGY SPECIALTY SECTION OF THE SOCIETY OF TOXICOLOGY

Columbus, OH—The Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section (DTSS) of the Society of Toxicology is the recipient of a $5,000 grant from Battelle. The donation will act as an award for outstanding research and development by a student. The mission of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section is to provide a forum for the interaction of individuals involved in basic skin biology and other professionals working in the field of dermal research.
“We are so grateful to Battelle for its generous donation and interest in the Specialty Sections of Toxicology,” said Dr. Carol L. Sabourin, Chief Scientist of Battelle’s Biomedical Research Center, and Secretary-Treasurer of DTSS. “The award will strengthen the support and encouragement that our students feel from Battelle, and will truly advance the progress that the DTSS has made.”
