Team Awarded $90 Million, Five Year Contract to Provide Training Support, Battle Lab Operations, and Analysis

Columbus, OH and Fort Leonard Wood, MO - Today, Battelle announced the renewal of a contract to serve as a provider of mission support services for the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center (MANSCEN). A recognized leader in managing complex operations, Battelle will oversee multiple team members and integrate many ongoing programs in support of the MANSCEN's role as America's premier Army training center. The contract value is for $90 million over a five-year period.

Based at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, the MANSCEN plays a critical role in supporting the Army at war, while simultaneously evolving to support Army Future Force transition. Battelle looks forward to its continued support of the Army's MANSCEN, proponent schools (Chemical School, Engineer School and Military Police school) and its tenant units.

With existing facilities at Ft. Leonard Wood, the Battelle team will serve the MANSCEN and its proponent schools by providing general technical and analytical support, doctrine and training development, training support, force modernization support, battle lab operations, general test and evaluation support, and simulation and analysis. In addition, the new contract terms have expanded the team to include internationally renowned companies such as Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. (AST), Clean Earth Technologies, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), Horne Engineering Services, Inc, SY Coleman (SYC), Logistics Services International (LSI), Missouri University's Fire and Rescue Training Institute (MFRTI), MTS Technologies, Inc. (MTS), P/Strada ,Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE), and Titan Corporation.
