At Battelle, we believe that applying the innovation and creativity of our people to public and private partnerships is one of the best uses of our resources to advance communities and quality of life.
With this in mind, we are endeavoring to be a catalyst for sustainable positive change in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education on a national scale. We are redefining what it means to be an engaged corporation to advance education through our work in support of student achievement, school development, teacher preparation, retention and intervention, policy, and measurement and accountability. All of our efforts leverage Battelle’s extraordinary technical staff, our access to unique facilities, our systems design capability, and our program management expertise to connect as many related efforts as possible to bring new scale to education solutions.
Battelle delivers and sustains numerous educational programs that engage K-12, higher education, business and informal science education centers by utilizing our award-winning, staff-driven employee volunteer program; by employing innovative means to collaborate and build networks; and by leveraging our connections to the world-class research facilities of the U.S. Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security.
