Have opinions about health care quality measures and how they are used? Join us for a conversation about the Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) powered by Battelle. During this presentation, you'll hear from Battelle's PQM leadership about their philosophy on community engagement in consensus building, transparency in discussions and equity in decision making. Presenters will also discuss new processes for measure endorsement, maintenance, and pre-rulemaking measure reviews. More specifically, you will have an opportunity to provide insight into how to effectively engage community members and clinical experts to build consensus about the benefits and harms of quality and cost measures that are proposed for use on a national level.
After this session attendees will be able to:
- Identify Battelle and the Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) philosophies.
- Describe PQM policies and procedures.
- Summarize the benefits of becoming a PQM member and participating in consensus-based processes.
